The new project of Barkli Corporation has won two prestigious awards at the same time as part of International Property Awards Europe. Barkli Residence, a prime residential development, has won in such categories as Best Development Multiple Units and Residential High-rise Development. The award ceremony will take place in London on 24 September 2013.
Barkli Residence – is the first project in Russia implemented by Robert Stern from the United States. Its architecture continues the traditions of neoclassicism typical for high-risers of the New York of the 1930s and the Moscow of the mid-20th century. Barkli Residence will contain 154 apartments measuring 16,761 square meters overall, a fitness facility, a bank office, a childcare center, a shopping area and a 352-place below-grade parking facility.
The jury comprising around 70 leading international property experts evaluated the projects against a number of criteria: design and construction quality, architectural solutions, interior design, marketing, etc.
‘We could say that this award was foreseeable for us. Robert Stern is a world renowned architect and winner of multiple awards. We have just confirmed once more that we have made the right choice by inviting a professional of this level to participate in the Barkli Residence project – notes Barkli’s CEO Andrey Tyasto.
