Barkli Residence wins International Property Awards Europe

The new project of Barkli Corporation has won two prestigious awards at a time as part of the International Property Awards Europe. Barkli Residence, a prime residential development, has won in such categories as Best Development Multiple Units and Residential High-rise Development. The award ceremony will take place in London on 24 September 2013.

Barkli Residence is the first project in Russia implemented by Robert Stern from the United States. Its architecture continues the traditions of neoclassicism typical for high-risers of the New York of the 1930s and the Moscow of the mid-20th century. Barkli Residence will contain 154 apartments measuring 16,761 square meters overall, a fitness facility, a bank office, a childcare center, a shopping area and a 352-place below-grade parking facility.

The jury comprising around 70 leading international property experts evaluated the projects against a number of criteria: design and construction quality, architectural solutions, interior design, marketing, etc.

International Property Awards Europe is one of the stages of International Property Awards that has been held since 1995 and considered to be one of the world’s topline property awards. International Property Awards finals will involve European winners (including Barkli Residence), and winners from the Arabic, Asian, Pacific, African and Caribbean regions, as well as from Canada, USA, Great Britain, Central and South Americas. The final results of International Property Awards will be announced in December 2013.
